what if it’s more layered than a tube (which you usually design) layers in the air supported by a column grid (another possibility) what could you draw from Persian architecture?  other than islam and religion history of ancient traditional iranian architecture vs. new (brutal) iranian architecture? look at essay by Stan Allen regarding Alhambra ……. putting it in the air allows for surveillance (form of protest) field conditions in architecture. challenge yourself.  against what site wants . don’t do a tube like you usually do. is that approach good to try to marry with our design interest. identify something that interests you in persian architecture
